I understand the negative reviews, these are clearly from people who don't appreciate the absolutely superb quality of their handmade products. People claiming that $11 is expensive for a coffee and HANDMADE chocolate have absolutely no idea about earning a living in a business and perhaps they should get behind the counter and try doing it because they obviously have no appreciation of what goes into these products. We spent a couple of hundred dollars there during our visit in November 2018 on the beautifully presented gift boxes which our friends and family adored when we got home. My partner and I will always remember this jewel in the crown of the village named Russell. Perhaps we'll get the opportunity to visit again one day. This is the sort of place that Rick Stein should visit if he's ever in town. 10 out of 10 Newport Chocolates, your heart and soul goes into your work and we appreciated it and will always remember it fondly.
