★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice beach. But really, really don't think that you can drive on this beach with your van. We helped TWO vans to get out of the sand in 30 mins! People just think that their car wont sink but the nature doesn't care!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Breath taking views. Soothing sound of the ocean. Warm soft sand. I recommend having a wind breaker jacket with a hoodie (or a warm jacket with hoodie), that has a draw string to tie the hood or pull it tight in case you go when it's cold or stormy and spare jandles if you want to walk on the beach (some places have shells). Amazing to drive on. Please follow the rules to stay on firm sand and stay safe. Take your rubbish with you. No dogs allowed in the beach and no shell collecting either.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely Wonderful place 90 mile beach is its unique and I personally haven't seen this long beach in my life where you can drive more than 72 K.m without stopping. Dont take your normal car there only 4×4

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped by during our travels. It's quite windy and turbulent. Nice to see just to say you have been. We saw some cars get stuck while driving on the beach. Would not recommend you try that unless you are more familiar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great access onto the beach if you have a 4WD vehicle, Great access and car park also. All thats missing is a shower for those who decide to go for a swim and get smashed by the breaking waves! Amazing beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful open road for as the name suggests 90-mile. I managed to get in and out with my AWD but a 4x4 is recommended.
So the only issue is we kinda ended up lost following google maps cause they take you to a walkway of the 90 mile but if you are driving the route you will need to find one of the access points just follow the road signs that's more accurate. Google waipapakauri ramp thats the entry we took.
