★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great little walk close to the Franz Josef township. The scenic little trail starts on the highway almost opposite the school and ends near the Medical Centre. From there it's straight into town. The trail is quite good and is nice and wide with plenty of space for cycling and walking. We use it as a loop for a great little dog walk using Douglas Rd. One of the few places you can walk in dog in this part of the West Coast!
