β β β β β The food here was really good but the restaurant itself was dingy, dirty, run down, and loud. All surfaces were grimy and sticky, the toilets didnβt flush, the lifts were broken, the stairs were a tripping hazard, there were various holes in walls, and the background music was a glitchy UE boom stuck in the corner. Would recommend the actual dishes but the atmosphere was disgusting.

The al tang is great as always.
(-): the cabbage at the bottom of the stir fry pork is definitely out of date, I could really taste it and it affects the pork as well.
3/4 Side dishes were salty and inedible. Would you like a warm kimchi as a side dish :) I dont think so
The customer service today is unacceptable, I removed my card too early, so its said βdeclinedβ on the eftpos machine but it said on my anz app was β34nzd and eftposβ( it didnt say visa hold or sth like that). While I was asking him about it, he literally ignored me and kept using his phone and didnt really care.
I used to come here every now and then but I wont anymore. Was trying to support them during lockdown but I guess theres better places to do so. I was wondering why the place used to be packed but now not so many customers. Now I know why :)
Should be 1 star, but another star is for respecting the work of the kitchen.

β β β β β Been coming here for decade now, food is always consistently excellent. Always love the BBQ hot plates and the buckwheat cold noodles. Staff always give great service and are very attentive
To get in you go up the steps into the Red Pagoda looking building, ya then take the elevator to the first floor

β β β β β Have eaten here several times. Efficient, fuss free service and it seems like a family run business. Classic Korean home cooking. The cold noodles were a little sweet and not spicy enough for my liking, but they may have made the taste more suited for a non-Asian demographic. The half cooked chicken is delicious and homey, perfect winter warmer.
