G	Glynn Yeardley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow, booked in with absolutely no problems using their online booking system, we was greeted by the really lovely and friendly staff and was seated as soon as we arrived. We went for the Sunday roast all round, kids had the chicken and the majority of adults had the roast beef and we was all absolutely blown away, by far the best roast dinner in the North island, tender meats, the meal had every trimming a proper British roast should and the Yorkies, OMG, the Yorkshire puddings were amazing, so, we are already looking forward to the following Sunday! We highly recommend making a visit and the British Sunday Roast is a must, again, it was absolutely splendid, everyone in our group of adults and children left totally satisfied. Excellent.
B	Bray Hudson-Croft on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was great. Second time back and can highly recommend the Seafood Linguine! However… don’t order a Martini or Espresso Martini, they can’t make them. I’m sure it was a mistake but for a basic drink it’s a bit poor. They did try again to be fair, but the espresso martinis just did not hit the mark. But can highly without a doubt say a great venue, fun staff (hilarious banter), and great wines and beers! Thanks for a great night team. ✨

We ordered medium rare, the meat came medium to well done. The fries were pale white, limp and soggy and unseasoned. The meat was poor quality, unseasoned, lucky it came with a big steak knife because it was needed to try and cut through the tough over cooked meat. The mushroom sauce was brown water and had 3 slices of mushrooms. Totally not worth the $99. Very disappointing.

It would be nice to see a few more veggie options. I was told this evening that they are starting to do roasts on a Sunday, with a vegetarian option... So that will be worth trying. Overall, happy.

This is 1 of the 3 pieces you get. $19 I used my 2for1 voucher = butchers cut and or market fish Both delicious Butchers cut was $40 market price and was beef bourguignon. Melt in the mouth beef as was the mash potato Market fish was Tuna on top of a clam and scallop linguine. No idea what this cost as used my voucher
