★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This post office told me international shipping wasn’t active, then when I went to another post office 15 mins later it was. Useless & lazy service. Do not recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried to send a parcel to Australia - was told by the agent NZ Post is not accepting international parcels at level 3 and would not take the parcel. Phoned NZ Post and was informed that the agent lied and that all agents should accept parcels - the preferred way is to complete the paperwork online and then drop off but even if not the agent should accept.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited this branch today 24-10-2021 around 6:45pm for domestic letter courier. I had the worst customer experience from this branch, would have given them negative rating if I could.
- This branch does not keep envelopes for letters/documents at all, no envelopes means you end up buying parcel bags and paying more. I ended up paying around $5 more just because they do not keep envelopes
- There is no desk where you could write the address on the envelope and seal it, staff will encourage you to go to your car outside like they told me
- When you do courier, NZpost staff scans it immediately at the counter acknowledging that they have received it but in my case its 11pm now and still there is no tracking update, meaning NZpost does not have my parcel.
Shame for above NZpost.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Totally agree, don't go there they are useless , unhelpful and lazy. I wanted to post international parcel they said we don't do that. Ask where all there bags were in the shop they had 2 up on the wall. I went during lockdown and they were just as rude. Stay away. Why they have the postshop franchise, who knows. Will certainly let NZ Post know. The petrol station across the road has much better staff and customer service. The ladies in Newmarket Postshop are exceptional and always friendly. Close this one down!
