Delays
- As a result of aircraft engineering issues, there are delays to some parcels sent by courier between the North and South Islands in both directions.
Delays to Mail Items:
- Due to precautionary maintenance on some of our electric mail buggies, delays of up to 2 days are expected for mail items across the country. These delays only impact mail delivered through our Paxster fleet – not Courier or Rural items.
- As our posties continue to deliver mail with a reduced fleet and through other means of transport, there is a small backlog forming. This will clear once the Paxsters are back up and running.
Delays to Parcels:
- In the North Island, we are experiencing delays for parcel delivery of up to 2 days in the Whangarei, Hamilton/Waikato and Rotorua areas.
- In the South Island there are delays for parcel delivery of up to 2 days, except in Nelson, Blenheim, Timaru, Ashburton and Christchurch East.
We’re working hard to get all items to their destinations safely but apologise for the inconvenience caused by these delays.

β β β β β 30.09.12 - Customer service very poor - even though it is Covid L3 and stock may be low, friendly customer service should be maintained. Was needing a large envelope to send documents to Greenlane - an $8 plastic envelope was all they had, with the lady behind the desk being quite cold. Not a good experience.

β β β β β I went to post a lot of Christmas cards and parcels and I asked for one in particular to be tracked so paid for a tracked bag. Asked for the tracking details and was told βitβs on the receiptβ and asked to move out of the shop so the next person could come in (COVID restrictions). I got home to see there is no tracking details on my receipt, so rung the post shop who once again told me βitβs on the receiptβ I told him it was not and was told βoh well nothing else I can doβ. The item has not arrived and it was a Xmas gift worth around $100 and I cannot track or claim compensation due to lack of a tracking number. Terrible service.

β β β β β Extremely disappointed in the service provided, 3 weeks ago I took in a parcel to be sent to the U.S. the woman who served me paid very little attention to details because when I handed her the parcel and asked what I needed to pay or forms I needed to fill out she told me there was nothing further that I needed to do, she was under the impression that what I had already written on the bag would be enough to send the parcel away. 3 weeks on and I contacted the company I was sending the goods to for them to tell me they have not received anything, when I told them of the situation they told me that I should have been given declaration forms and been charged to have the package sent to them as itβs overseas. I went back in to the Papakura branch today and told the same lady who helped me the first time what the problem was, she could not have cared any less that she made the mistake. She simply gave me a phone number to call and told me to take up my problem with them. When I called the phone number she had given me they also told me that because of the initial mistake made that my package is most likely now lost in the system. I hope in future all staff at this branch take better care in their work because the absolute lack of care can impact peopleβs lives dramatically. Inside that package was a DNA sample of a precious member of my family who has since passed on, so the information I was seeking will never be found out ? I am beyond stressed out by this.
