β β β β β They normally do things right but this time when I applied for an IRD number on 8th Jan, it should've came back by now but I've rung IRD and this will be the 3rd email they'll send to this post shop - so slow ugh ...

β β β β β had a rude experience by the wheatish indian lady in the counter, had a delivery picked up ny nz post, she asked "whats your name and address? i answered that. she went inside didn't find the parcel and told me there no parcel by your name, unfortunately i had no phone with me, went home and checked it and it clearly says its in upper hutt kiwibank and post as i ordered the item to picked up from there . this time she said " oh it's a redirected one and that's why i didn't find it," well then why she asked my name when i sent there first time? i had to go there two times just became of her mistake, when someone asks your address obviously one will say own house address , its her responsibility to go and search for it , she even asked my name when i went first and told me the item is not there, unfortunately i didn't noticed her name , even when i went there for the second time she just made this comment and went inside " oh it's a redirected one and that's why i didn't find it, and you should say your address which you have arranged the delivery" had i been asked this at the first time i could have said that , instead when i walked in for the second time with my phone exactly where the item is , she raised this question. so didn;t noted her name else should have written her name , but i want to thank the staff @Emily for helping me out , just becoz of her i feel ok else you feel bad as the other one was trying to ascertain that am wrong and shes, right she behaved as it;s my fault which is not . had i be

β β β β β Apparently you can not pick up any parcels without showing photo Id....even if you have a very clear photocopy of your I'd both back and front that is signed from the courts as an official document.
Absolutely rude and useless staff.

β β β β β NZ Post seem to have some pathetic and extremely lazy people working for them.
They were meant to deliver something yesterday. They did not knock. They did not come down the drive way and they didnt even leave a note to say i have to go pick it up. I found out through the website that they had "attempted delivery".
I then wasted my time going into town to be told they wont give me my stuff because they cant accept my passport since it expired a week or so ago.
Mum then went down later and they wouldnt accept her passport either because of the same reason. They wouldnt accept any other ID from Mum either. She had all sorts of ID on her but nope.
I later called NZ Post to get them to deliver it again. They cant do that but the support on the phone told me that they should have accepted the passport ID even though its a couple weeks past.
This could have all been avoided if 1 person did the job they were paid to do. Its not even hard. Put a piece of paper in the mail box and this whole issue would have never happened. Apparently too hard to put a piece of paper in a mail box.

β β β β β Yesterday I purchased some scratch cards to put in my sister's birthday card. A short plump balding man (possibly the manager?) told me it was illegal to post them. He then refused to sell me a stamp in case I posted them, very weird and rude I thought.

β β β β β Some time ago I went to post a parcel which I had weighed, and measured, put in to the parcel website to fine out how much it will cost. This has happened twice at this store, the parcel should have cost $4.80, and they tried to charge me twelve dollars !!! after the lady had exhausted her measuring and weighing, I took the parcel back, and took it to the Trentham post shop, where the parcel cost me $4.80. The Upper Hutt post shop need to train their staff properly, or put up with people going elsewhere.
Ps. It would not allow me to post this without giving them a star, and the fact this has happened to me twice with the same lady serving me, I want it known I do not want to give them any stars !!

β β β β β Has a bad experience with them regarding a parcel pick up yesterday . Especially the Indian lady(sorry not picking her ethnically since not wearing a name tag, and refused to give her name out. I have no other means to identify her) who mislead me twice . One was more than an year ago.I had to go to Trentham post twice due to her misleading information while the upper hutt had my parcel. This time I took my parcel note to collect. Staff insisted that the parcel was not there and will be in Trentham. But I was sure it is still there and they didn't checked properly which turned out to be true. I has the same experience with the Indian lady who send me twice an year ago and finally they found the parcel inside. She didnt bother to check it and kept on insisting the parcel is not there. She tried this yesterday mentioning "two staffs are looking for it and parcel is not there". While the pick up note clearly shows that it is in upperhutt paper plus and even the tracking shows it is in upperhutt .she kept on sticking with her misleading info. So please anyone wanting to collect parcel watch out this grumpy indian staff who mislead me twice on two different occasions, even dont want to check properly and coming up with excuses. While my parcel was still in the with them. So watch her out and her excuses.Had she been checked properly it could have been found on both the occasions.Not worth a single star.
