β β β β β Had to deal with these guys as I was hit by one of their customers. I've had to chase them and thier approved repairer up at every single step along the way. Currently it's been a month and my car hasn't even gotten into the shop to get the needed repairs

β β β β β Had the displeasure of dealing with company as my parents were with them for car insurance. Astounded that this company actually exists with their appalling customer service. Afterwards tried to make a complaint and there is no email address! Called the complaints department and was told no one is available. Took my details down and said would get back to me- and no answer!! how can I report a problem about the company when the complaints department won't respond??! I am getting my folks to change insurance companies.

I've never had a claim, Was given absolute attitude about claiming a cell phone on a 2.6m policy.
They hung up on me, rung straight back to cancel the policy and now can't talk to anyone.

β β β β β Really poor service (NZI Business Insurance). Everytime we ring, it takes far too long to even find our business policy - today, it took 25 minutes (on hold, with horrendously loud and awful hold music) -- just to cancel our policy. And over the years, they have sent out many duplicate invoices, all in error. The most pathetic insurance company we've ever dealt with.

β β β β β I experienced a 10 month saga with AON/NZI for my commercial vehicle where I was hit head on by a vehicle which was on the wrong side of the road. This culminated at around month 9 in the following email I sent to NZI.
1.How has this vehicle been allowed to be Certified by your engineer when it is clearly structurally bent and defective?
2. How has this vehicle managed to get a COF when some of the parking lights have not been connected and the door does not even close properly?
3. How has your Assessor and your Repairer passed this twice for quality control?
It is clear to me that AON, & NZI and everyone involved has put profit margin above all else. Customer service, quality control, clientβs safety and safety of other road users clearly come second place.
I received NO reply to the above.
NZI finally paid me out in full (so vehicle was actually written off after numerous repair attempts) + a lousy $5k compensation after I sent the above email and threatened to go to the ombudsman. I endured over 10 months of stress dozens and dozens of emails so many sleepless nights I had to find $30k of my personal money to buy a replacement truck just so I could make a living (a few weeks after the accident which was in March 2020).

β β β β β Very poor service. The person we liaised with, Karen Sager, tried to avoid doing any work on her part so we were stuck having to to sort out claims in an old school fashion as if there was no broker involved.
