★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed Easter 2022, excellent location, stroll to Ohope cafes, hear and see the sea, room was extremely clean, has been modernised, very comfy bed, full Sky channels, great hosts, perfect place to stay and enjoy one of NZ's best beaches. Recommend the Mexican restaurant too

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Is starting to show its age in some places but it's a great place to stay. Well looked after and equipped. Our knives were quite blunt so felt very unsure using those and the single beds were fairly hard and unforgiving. Would stay here again. The view is awesome and Moxi cafe down the road is to die for.
