β β β β β Was a pretty fun experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pays to book if they're busy to avoid missing out.
Went through with my partner after we picked up a good deal online. It says an hour but you can get through it in anywhere from 15-30mins. Then you can keep going if you choose to use up the hour. We went through twice and both times were fun, testing all your senses in different ways with each room being something new.
May be a bit scary in places for smaller children. But very fun for all, big or small.

β β β β β Over priced for just one thing not that great to be honest staff not that helpful or friendly and definitely not suitable for small children. Smash it should be included in price as very costly. Wouldn't recommend this activity

β β β β β So much fun! Very well done and we had a blast. My three 6 year old kids handled it well, a bit scared in the dark parts. Not recommended if your child is afraid of the dark. My 2 & 4 year olds made it through with a few tears, afterwards they said it was awesome though! Really worth it especially getting the 1 hour access pass. Highly recommend!!!

β β β β β Staff member was helpful, especially when my daughter panicked as we couldnβt find way out of jungle room. Staff was the best part of the experience. I would have to say that I thought it overpriced for what it was. It may be on par with other Queenstown pricing but the standard of the installation isnβt. Thought it was a bit underwhelming tbh and my 12 year old agreed. In fact she said it first! Also disappointing that we couldnβt buy a family pass which would have made it cheaper. I was on my own with my only child- a small family but was told we had to be 2 adults and 2 kids so ended up paying more for the 2 of us than a βconventionalβ family would have paid. Didnβt make sense to me and is discriminatory if nothing else.

β β β β β Absolutely incredible, we were seen to by Sarah. Amazing customer service, friendly, very informative and helpful. Me and my partner are VERY easily confused so we're kind of hard to deal with, but Sarah was so patient and helpful. The maze and smash hit were absolutely incredible, would definitely knock anyone's socks off, they definitely did for us.

β β β β β Wouldn't recommend for younger kids. The extremes of loud bright rooms and total darkness can be overwhelming. If you aren't sure, see if they will let you look in the first room before committing to payment. Unfortunately there isn't a way to skip certain rooms or have the volume down and n rooms for your party.
Also, you can't take any sort of camera in, so don't expect to come away with any fun photos.

β β β β β Had an amazing time at Odyssey. Have been to the Auckland one and had to visit the Queenstown one as well! So much fun to visit! Definitely take your time to make sure you use all your senses when going through each room. Will definitely visit again!

β β β β β Quite expensive for what it is. I also think that itβs important for people to know that the first few rooms take a bit of flexibility to get through the spaces. I havenβt been able to find any photos of these, only the fun bits once youβre inside each room. We brought my dad (the kids grandad) to the experience and whilst he didnβt have any of the ailments in the initial terms and conditions, he found parts quite difficult to navigate through. We were also told that there were no cameras in the first 3-4 rooms so once you are in, you are in. These first few rooms would probably be where the cameras would be needed the most. Once you get past the first few rooms itβs pretty smooth sailing but the first few rooms arenβt great for the less flexible.
