★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's fun for a bit. Though it's quite small and limited, I thought you'd be able to have more freedom.
It took me just 7-8 minutes for everything, and then was stuck in the room for 5 minutes, waving at the camera, waiting for the worker.
Also it's more dangerous than expected, as the thick solid glass can easily fly back at you and hit you in the face, and you're just wearing these small goggles (and helmet).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having done Odyssey sensory maze I was looking forward to going back and trying their new Smash It room. It was so much fun!!! We got to smash bottles, glasses, plates in the room with weapons of our choice (baseball bats, hammers etc.) or throwing them at the walls! ? after we went through the maze as well. It was great to see that the maze has changed sense the last time we were there. Great fun!!! Harry looked after us! What a legend!! Highly recommend it! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited yesterday with my 30 year old daughter and we both had a SMASHING time!!! (pun intended :))
Was greeted by a friendly welcoming lady who advised us of all the rules. Was asked what room we would like. We chose the Wine Cellar room.
We was then taken to the room where we was both kitted out in all the protective clothing we needed. Then we had to choose our weapons of mass destruction lol we opted for baseball bats, heavy hammers and metal pipe.
The room was full of bottles, all shapes and sizes. We had fifteen minutes to go wild and smash away any stress!!!
I will say that the fifteen minutes is plentiful, trust me, we was sweating heaps.
The choice of music was classical, which I feel just added to the excitement!!
Well worth a visit if you're in Queenstown and feeling stressed or just wanna do that something a little different.
Would recommend Smashit Room.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty lame we had about 30 bottles and a few plates between 3. Room is really only big enough for 2 people you can smash them really slowly to make it last 15 mins but 5 mins and yr done really. Do sensory maze instrad that is much better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ How often do you get to go to town smashing bottles and plates with your loved ones? Lots of laughs and the attendant was very good too. Felt very safe and enjoyed it thoroughly.
