I had unknowingly been making transfers at a higher rate for months. Very misleading and encourage everyone to double check their rates! I will be changing providers

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have used a business OFX account for more than a decade.
Countless money transfers for business to overseas factories, paid for car imports, motorcycles, Ebay purchases etc.
I have always received a better exchange rate from OFX than any bank and it has saved me thousands of dollars when exchange rates are good.
For business this is the only way to go, banks just rip us off.
On one transfer I remember the bank would have pocketed $5000 of my money hidden in their exchange rate but with OFX and their more favorable rate, I got to keep all my money.
Only a mug uses banks these days, if you are running a business that is involved with importation, fabrication etc, then I hope you use a professional money exchange company and not a bank.

No answers to my query because compliance team unavailable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This company has a single service, money transfer, and is incapable of transferring money. When you sign up, they immediately allow you to schedule an exchange, even though their protocol says they need to call you first. So I scheduled purchase of NZD, and then wired the money, and then they canceled the transaction, and then they lost my money. Please don't use this company! Use transferwise!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Annoying to use. Setup is simple but not complete until your first order, which gets canceled if you miss their call because when you call back you sit on hold for over an hour. Also tried pressing the call me back option only to get no call back. Customer service was pleasant but took days to work out my problem.
To make matters worse it's not even the best rate, you can get a few dollars better on USD->NZD on wise and once you are set up the transfer is instant at the advertised rate no problems.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OFX was recommended to me but my experience with the company has been dreadful. You have to call them to verify certain details but that takes a very long time on hold. When I got through the person on the phone was extremely unprofessional and it gave me a very bad feeling. When you are talking about transferring a lot of money, you expect a degree of professionalism. The person was bordering on rude. I am now trying to find out how to delete my account.
