Stunning views
Staff so friendly and helpful
The food in the Cafe is the best I have every had on a ski field. Beautiful local slices & cakes (carrot cake a must try) great coffee too.
The road is an adventure in itself. I would recommend a 4wd.
Great runs. Not crowded.
Had the most awesome few days

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great ski field! Not at all crowded, super friendly staff and a cute little cafe. Some of the runs could be better marked though. It’s hard to know where the black diamonds start and easy to get stuck somewhere surrounded by rocks! Amazing views though!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Turn up the lodge, ski/hike/ride, come back for a hot tub, with your only job to choose which of the two dinner options you're going to have, whilst staring at a spectacular view across the lake. Holidays shouldn't be allowed to be this easy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Classic New Zealand ski field. Chair takes you to the top, and from there the only limit is your imagination! So many awesome hikes and areas to go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice small downfield for intermediate and advanced skiers and boarders. Only 1 chair and not too many groomed runs, but lots of challenging off peak, which seemed especially good for skiers. Cafe serves good coffee and cakes, and the view and drive up are spectacular.
