★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 15 minutes off the track each way, (we spent 15 going up, 15 there, and 15 coming back down). Reasonably tough going, steep and gorse ridden. Had my nearest sighting of a fantail on this climb - just over a metre away. I recommend leaving your bag (hidden) on the side of the track, so you don't have to carry it up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Moderately steep climb up from Te Mahia saddle. Plants block your view quite a bit, so no 360 panorama. But, you can see up several of the channels. And, if you wait a bit, especially if sitting at the picnic table, wekas will walk by. No shade if there at lunch time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It takes 30minutes (not 75min like the sign says) from the Mistletoe carpark. Pretty steep but it's a good path with no steps. Amazing vistas along the path, and gorgeous view from the top. Bring a picnic, watch a ferry come in, checkout the different colors of the sea. You will not want to leave.
