★ ★ ★ ★ ★ they have a great beer selection. but the meal prices are way too high for the quality and portion size i am sorry to say. $86 for two drinks and two main courses that were on the small side is too steep.

It was a difficult day today for the family but coming together at your cheerful establishment with such tasty food was just what we needed. We will be back to remember our son/brother again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Bird is one of our favorite eating places in Wellington, even though it's not our local. The food is good, and so is the atmosphere and the service. There was a great dark stout with a nutty flavor yesterday!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 31/12/21. Steak & Mushroom sauce& veges v/good. Pork Belly, lovely. Bit light on slaw but Prune puree made up for that. Banana milkshake Yum!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to the one fat bird last night, excited as could be, ready for a delicious meal and lovely atmosphere. What I discovered still makes my stomach drop thinking about it now. It took an hour possibly more for my starters of nachos and a small bowl of fries and when they still hadn't arrived I had had enough and left with tears pouring down my face.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was amazing experience having a brunch here. It was our anniversary and we came here for brunch to spend time and have some good lunch It was totally worth it. Food was delicious and on top of it service was so amazing. The two girls yestin and Aimee greet us wonderfully. Service was awesome?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We happened upon One Fat Bird by chance and it was an incredible place to go with the family. We were only there for appetisers and drinks unfortunately, as we were expected for dinner at the family's house. We walked in & us parents were pleased at the beer selection. The kids were immediately drawn to the whimsical decorations. Suzanna, who was front of the house staff, immediately made us feel super welcome & was so lovely & had spot on service. She went the extra mile and was fantastic with the kids. Our drinks were great. Our bowl of chips $11 and 8 buffalo wings $16 were delicious. The kids menu was in 3D so 3D glasses were worn by the kids. Good fun all around & we highly recommend.
