★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Impressive & spectacular it's well worth the drive & short walk and when combined with the Moria Arch it's a must see when in the Karamea area. Keep your eyes open for the rare & endangered Blue Duck.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful natural formation that has to be seen to feel just how amazing nature can be. There's a great walk of about half an hour from the car park to the arches. Really enjoyed the walk but you need to be able to handle stairs and uneven surfaces. There is a 15km gravel road to the car park which is not suitable for motorhomes or the like. It's worth the drive though. The walk and the arches are a must see if you're heading to the top of the West Coast.

Needed a good grade, really rutted in parts. Seen one car fall of the road into the ditch.
The roads is not very wide and on the hills those coming down should give way to those coming up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely worth the drive up. Did it in a long base Toyota hiace 2wd. Do not pull over beyond the road as the sides of the road dips and the bush hides them. I saw a car stuck on the way up.
Just be careful!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice scenic cave. As per the notices posted, it had been see level and as the see level dropped, this had emerged.. public toilet available. Couple of walk tracks available. On the day I visited (17/Apr/2022), it was under construction. It is really a nice scenic view. No network coverage presence.
