β β β β β I phoned the Lynnmall shop yesterday to get copies of my wife's receipts and DebitSuccess form from December 2019. I spoke with Mohammad who was polite, courteous and very fast in emailing the information required. Was pleasantly surprised as I had read the reviews here 1st before I called. Good job OPSM Lynmall.

β β β β β Highly recommend visiting OPSM Lynn Mall and Dr. Neha Khan for your eye consultation requirements. I was extremely impressed how she made the process smooth, fun and thorough. I also can't thank Dr. Khan enough for being courteous to my requests for additional documentation. Getting an appointment was smooth sailing via their website. The location is perfect and there is ample parking for anyone driving in.

β β β β β I had booked an appointment at 12 PM on 11th April 2021. I reached at 12.05 PM and still I was denied my book eye test. I wonder In which world 5 minutes delay is not acceptable when a person has already travelled for an hour to reach there. Absolutely Pathetic and inconsiderate experience. I was given an option of completing only a partial test in 15 minutes as if they were doing a favor on me. If I had an option of half star I would have given a half star. SOUTHER CROSS should reconsider their tie up with OPSM. SUCH S SHAME !!!

β β β β β I wonder if folks realise OPSM is owned by Luxottica. If not it might pay to check out what other brands Luxottica own and why OPSM even exists.....hint its to sell overpriced luxury brands owned by parent company.
The marketing and more correctly Sales tactics used by OPSM are like virtually all other Italian companies I have ever dealt with. [Ever been to a Venetian crystal shop?] How it works is someone with a semblance of knowledge and skill [usually a newly graduated OPTICIAN in their 1st job] establishes a relationship with a "free" consultation lasting a fair length of time so you are feeling 'obliged' or 'grateful' possibly even guilty for taking advantage of this free consultation. You are then ushered into the high pressure Sales part of the operation and set upon by the seemingly caring but necessarily ruthless sales staff. They follow a strict
orchestrated and well learned dialogue and formula culminating in the last 30 seconds of the 'fitting and selection' process with them finally advising you of the TOTAL price and your payment options.
If you dont buy frames off them they will go broke. If you genuinely care about your vision pay the consultation fee to an experienced OPTOMETRIST with no axe to grind and buy your glasses anywhere with the prescription he supplies.
OPSM's only reason for existence is to sell frames and lens for parent company. The service and quality of advice reflects this.

β β β β β I always experienced great customer service from the team in this store! Iβve been going here for check ups, new glasses/sunglasses since 2015 and wouldnβt think of going anywhere else. New(ish) store manager Jafor Mohammad has made it even better, Iβll still make the effort to continue going to this particular store even though weβve moved to east Auckland :)

β β β β β I had booked an appointment at 2:00 PM. I reached at 02.07 PM. They checked the appointment card and asked to take a chair and wait for the turn. After 5-10 minutes they told us that you were late for appointment for more than 5 Minutes, they cancelled my appointment and asked me to rebook. If appointment was cancelled why they wasted our time and why they asked us to wait in the queue. Also they mentioned that they do half full test for southern cross member and if wants to scan full eye test need to pay $30 which was never mentioned on souther cross or OPSM site. It just says free eye test. I booked next appointment at OPSM st lukes where they did full eye test without muking around anything related to full/half eye test.

β β β β β Booked for eye test and late for 1 minute, after complete all paper work and waiting in the waiting room, they said they canβt do the test due to Iβm late as eye test for 7 yo kids need more time. Called another op sm branch booked test and they said itβs not the case at all,30min is enough for them and 1min late is just excuse. Anyway not recommend.
