★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been a chef for 26 years, this was without a doubt the worst butter chicken I've ever tasted. It's was the consistency of water and bland. Had been looking forward to having butter chicken for dinner what a tragic ending. The Nan bread was nice ?♂️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We bought the takeaway from New Lynn mall Mumbai express. Food was awful. Oily , tasteless. Charged full amount for vegetable but gives only half container. Phone order has been done but when we go for pick up. They said order was not confirmed so did not prepared. They bought the chicken tikka from Shamiana other takeaway from the same mall. Which was really unprofessional. And the girl was laughing when we have asked why the order was not ready.
Disgusting place. Even if not eligible for 1 star.
These people don’t value for customers. We pay and in return expect at least good food.
The owner of this Mumbai express should think about it.
I will not recommend this Mumbai express at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Won't be coming back, waste of money actually.we had ordered Chicken tikka masala and butter paneer no taste at all,Naan was cold and when we have asked for he said it’s new, another nan he picked up but he may going it’s cold , went in bin so he made the new one. But no quality, no taste to be honest.

The food was exceptional, presentation to a high standard and the taste sensational. Perfecting the 'heat' in Indian food is no mean feat and they nailed it as you could still taste everything. They definitely know their flavours! All the dishes were stand-out and the American chopsuey was some of the best we had had - You certainly won't be hungry, as the
quantity they provided was a lot .
Overall a 10/10, would highly recommend this place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mumbai Express has a lively and fresh ambience and the food matches the ambience. I have been there three times and each time I have eaten different dishes and they all are good. Last week, my wife was in that area and she brought home Goat Curry for dinner. The container was stuffed to the gills, the curry was yummy as and the goat meat was falling of the bone tender. Awesome guys, keep up the standards. Will visit you again when craving for some Indian food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not worth the money spent. Ate here and the food was mediocre! The chicken wasn't fully cooked and had a very upset stomach a couple of hours later. Hope the standard improves in the near future so that we could visit this place again. Staff are friendly and the place is well kept!
