★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purchased a pair of Oakley prescription sunglasses middle of 2021 and after a few weeks lost the little rubber inserts that fit to your nose. Went back and unfortunately Oakley had discontinued this model. OPSM replaced the sunglasses with a model that I chose at no cost to me. The whole process took a couple of weeks. I couldn't have asked for better service.Thank you OPSM Whangarei

My dad is 65 and after his stroke what he means to say is sometimes mixed up, they had so much patience for him, laughed at his jokes, explained every detail and answered every question without getting annoyed once. He didn't feel uncomfortable once and the whole time he felt listened to (which alot of people do the opposite). We were taken care of by maree, kushal and also I think a lady names ellie? (Ellies expertise were wonderful) The dream team honestly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a really good optometrist. I went in for contacts and he is extremely knowledgeable about his business. He did a good eye exam, was friendly and efficient. It was such a hassle free experience. I asked for his card to give my friend but they didn't have one. I guess he usually works in Auckland and isn't in Whangarei full time. I got lucky to see him. They don't have any optometrists on staff. Only 1 lady knows anything about booking appointments and ordering lenses. And I think she is overworked because my orders and appointments both got messed up. I went to spec savers for my final fitting because my followup appointment wasn't booked correctly. And I had waited 1 month between my first visit and the follow up. I was given 10 pairs of contacts but had to wait a month! Without the contacts i can't see. And it took 8 days to get them in once ordered. Then the day prior to my final fitting appointment I was told I didn't have one. But, I stood there while the lady put me in a month earlier. Plus, with no optometrist on staff she couldn"t rebook me because she had no idea when he would be in. I was so frustrated I paid another company to finish my final fitting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cannot rate my experience highly enough. Absolutely blown away by the service I received from Sheree, she was so lovely and patient with me and my indecisiveness. I must’ve tried on most of the pairs in the shop and if not for her I probably would’ve put it in the too hard basket. She’s amazing and I wouldn’t go anywhere else now. So happy with my new specs and sunnies and looking forward to the next time I need new glasses so I can come to Sheree and the team!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my first optometrist experience. Turned out that I needed help with my distance vision. Optometrist could have done a better job of explaining to me what was wrong with my eyes but he technically did a good job. After sales ladies were fantastic. We had some laughs. They allowed me freedom to select the frames I wanted. I didn’t feel pressured to throw on every lens option. They did their best to give me the sharpest price they could. The best bit was being able to pay them off spread over 1 year so around $1000 equated to around $16 per week automatic payment. This worked for me. Overall I will use OPSM again but next time I will ask more questions. Happy new customer ?
My mate asked me what I was going to do after my appointment was finished…. I told him I’ll see ?
