★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little unit, shower had good pressure but Charged extra because my two children wear nappies. What about people drinking alcohol? Are they charges extra as they're using more rubbish space then I was.
Under the beds could use a dust
the cutlery and pots etc needed a wash before use
One of the elements didn't work
$150 a night is extremely expensive

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First class holiday and camping grounds, great kiddies play ground and an incredible beach which is generally very safe as long as you watch the waves and follow the rules and guidelines. There is an extremely strong and efficient surf life saving club, very active during the school holiday period and certain days during February to April when it is suitable weather for swimming. When the Surf Life Savers are on duty, at this time the beach is very safe as long as everyone listens to their advice and swims between the flags as there can be rips on this beach. Surfing depending on the tide and waves is all year round. The camp ground has great facilities, a minor shop but the Opunake township is 3 minutes drive on 10ish minutes walk away and you should pretty much be able to get everything you need for your camping and holiday requirements.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome spot on the beach. Great facilities hot showers, outdoor showers, kitchen with cook tops and drinkable water and great surf for having fun with the family or for surfing first thing in the morning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Many thanks to Opunake Beach Holiday Park....a well appointed two bedroom Bach which can sleep seven. Nice large shower and good availability of heating and cooling. Very tidy grounds and friendly people. Many thanks and we'll be back for sure.
