★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a great fan of Thai2Go since it opened and really appreciate the quality of the food but tonight's order of the Massaman Lamb Shank curry was such a disappointment. The driest lamb I have ever tasted, not easy to do as a takeaway but this was horrendous. Also I asked for medium heat I.e amount of chilli, sadly not a chilli to be had. I will go back because all other dishes i have had have been good but maybe take the lamb off the.menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food but the level of heat didn't match my expectations. I'm usually a mild person if I'm getting Indian so expected medium from Thai to be some decent heat but didn't taste like any spice. Would still get again and try hot as the food overall was good

Also when you started we recall food quality and taste was excellent. However this seems to have slipped with dishes tasting the same. Stick with the quality or we will go elsewhere

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were disappointed in the quality and taste of the meals tonight. The chicken was very dark and the beef a bit discoloured. A little bit more care needs to be taken with presentation and flavour. The dishes lacked flavour. We didn’t end up eating it all. It was better on another occasion that we went.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Average at best. Lifeless and bland, no depth of flavour. The spice level is arbitrary, the sweet chili dipping sauce was hotter than the hot option. Cabbage, carrot, cauliflower and your choice of meat/noodle in some kind of disappointing sauce is basically the whole menu. The beef salad (pictured) was so far from the description and picture. Don't waste your time and money, far better Thai options in Timaru.
