★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The breast reduction resulted in 3 sizes up from what I requested when asked. I was only seen 2weeks after the surgery and not again by Josie Todd. Very disappointing after all I went through.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I do not recommend Dr Chris Spencer, I paid a lot of money because i was worried after a difficult first labour that I would have trouble again and I wanted a c section but he said I was fine. I barely saw him and he wasn’t even available for the birth. Anyway I did end up having a difficult birth again and now suffer from a range of issues in that area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We highly recommend using Ben as an obstetrician. His skills and expertise were second to none and ensured that we had a safe and smooth delivery of our baby. He should be top of the list for any pregnant woman in Christchurch. We feel very fortunate to have been under his care.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chris Spencer was my Obstetrician throughout
my pregnancy. Having previously had a Caesarean birth and living a long distance from from the hospital left us with no choice but to have a hospital birth. Unfortunately Mr Spencer was unwell when I went into labour and we had never been introduced to his back up. Very sad to report that the Obstetrician that did attend my daughter’s birth from this practice, was incredibly disrespectful. It could have been such a positive experience because the birth itself was very straight forward.
I would recommend Mr Spencer again but urge you to meet you back up doctor and write up birth plan. Lack of informed consent and outdated practice of coached pushing was very upsetting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly Recommend seeing Olivia Smart, especially if you suffer with Endometriosis. I have had multiple surgeries with Olivia and each one of them have been fantastic. After multiple doctors told me my pain was just in my head Olivia really listens and understood what i was going through. She has done everything she can to help me.
She also has a very welcoming energy and is one of the best doctors i have had. Couldn't recommend her enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I post here to warn others At first this clinic was wonderful and thought was in very kind caring place with Mr East, having terrible pain. Was recommended Hysterectomy, no scan before were done to find the pain and not being able to go to toilet.
After surgery the pain same pain continued more appointments made one staff member was rude and uncaring, we don't have appointments for you. Mr East did see me twice after surgery to not be able to find the problem and told me it was in my head and get help for this.
I found help out of Ch Ch, the surgeon found I had no perineal body and low rectocel believed to be from a Retractor from a minor surgery from Dr Geeta Singh Ch Ch.
Following the rectocel perineal surgery so thankful to this surgeon caring and able to find problem and relief my symptoms I can go to toilet now and pain has been overcome.
It was not in my head IT WAS a mechanical problem.
Just be warned if Mr East can't find it, it must be in your head is his medical opinion.
Cleanly not here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been so very lucky being in the care of Dr. Ben Sharp. After a couple months of health issues I was referred to, seen and booked in for surgery in such a short period of time! Ben and his nurse Julie, have been great throughout the whole process - easy to talk to, happy to listen and offer advice and so reassuring. I am definitely in good hands going forward. My experience regarding the surgery was great, it was so relaxing and comforting - especially as I had to undergo surgery in Level 3 and therefore couldn't have any support people. Thank you

A huge thank you Dr Ben Sharp, so lucky to have you. I am feeling 1000 % better. I would also like to thank the ladies that I spoke to on the phone at Oxford Women's Health, they were so friendly and helpful. Hope you all are having a lovely Christmas with your families, and all the best for 2022.
