★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped here because it is the last stop of the electrified trains and you have to then get on a smelly old diesel train to get to Pukekohe. The station is not well signposted in regards to where the platforms are.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a very amazing place to catch the train in to town or up to Homai and it is also a major train station as can change trains there for the 2 carriage shuttle to Pukekohe and it has got public toilets, a kiosk pretty much as a bus and train interchange for Papakura and it now has electronic gates and it even has a cafe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very nicely appointed mini train station, I usually stop off here to catch the train to Pukekohe when it's running. The bus transfer has improved greatly.

Clean & tidy a cafe shop with seating while waiting for your train.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed the trip from Glen Innes until Papatoetoe Platform where while waiting for the link to Papakura where i was yelled at ,from a distance and rudley spoken to by a Security guard telling me to get back from the edge of the platform, now , i was walking slowly on the other side of the marked strip, i didn't argue, just moved futher away. I'm 66yrs old probably twice the age of this so called Officer of the Platform law,have been traveling the rail up and down the country for decades, and have never been spoken to like that and in that manner...
Like "they"say : put a uniform on some, and they'll think of themselves, higher than mighty... ?☝= ??...

Annoying to tag off and on again when you just going from City to Pukekohe.
Nice views, friendly staff, even a kind museum - old tickets machine on a station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly helpful staff. The lift for wheelchair users was not working to get down or up to the overbridge. The new tag on tag off system is good. People can't easily get free rides. The area was pretty clean and graffiti free. It's looking really good, keep it up!
