★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the chicken burger the other day I haven’t been there since the previous owners the chicken burger was good but can’t compare to the old ones they have replaced the good chicken fillet with minced chicken patty just not the same and are also $2 more expensive for less of a burger

The hot rooster burger was delicious and not at all spicy like i thought it was going to be had the perfect balance of sweet and spice.
The big bang burger was massive and tasty too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nicely cooked and yummy fish and chips. My order was lost some how and wait was longer than that expected but we got free chicken nuggets due to the mix up with a nice apology. We all thought the fish and chips were worth the wait! We'll be back! Thank you

I cant believe these people are still in business with the way they treat customers. I’ve had 2 too many experiences with these people the first I ordered over the phone and when I collected our food the hot dog was in a bag of tomato sauce entirely coated and slimy - we weren’t told it would be in sauce and my daughter and not sure which child would want to eat that so I took it back in, explained and asked nicely for another one and the owner was extremely rude just glanced at me and said it says on the menu but I made a phone order so was entirely un aware.
I’ve just rang up again thinking I’ll give them another shot as there are some good reviews only to try and order a chicken burger without dairy to over hear the owner say “it has Mayo in it and we’re not changing it because that’s how it comes” one simple change to gain another customer shouldn’t be so hard!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most amazing burger I've ever had. 2 days ago I had an $18 gourmet burger at an expensive restaurant cooked by a trained chef. The burger I had at Paperfish was far superior in every way!
I also had fish and chips: The crumbed fish had the most wonderful coating; thin, light but still crisp.
The chips were the only thing that was average about this meal.
I also had a milkshake, which was perfect.
Highly recommend this place. It's not often I give 5 stars?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an elephant fish burger which was nice but fish was tasteless and could have left out the cheese, also squid rings which were average, salt and pepper squid which were nice and my mate had some butter fish ( bit of a weird texture presumably frozen) good service and close to the water with stunning views, would be awesome if there was a larger selection of fish.
P.s I have noticed similar comments in the reviews from 5 months ago, so I don't think reviews will change much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic fish & chips and burgers! Its been a few yrs since I've had such a good fish and chips meal! The fish i had was just the cheapest on the menu, was beautifully fresh with a perfect batter, crispy, lovely flavour, not too thick or too thin. The chips are crispy and deliciously well fried....the burgers are absolutely Massive! Loaded with delicious salads, sauces and beautiful thick home made beef pattie. You cannot go wrong with this place!
