★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've stayed at Parkhill Lodge several times now and have always been extremely happy. The 3 large bedroom villa is attached to the side of the main house, although it is very private and has its own entrance.
Hosts Dennis & Julie Rodgers are wonderfully friendly and helpful, and will make sure you're comfortable and happy on check-in, and are on hand should you have any specific needs/requests. That said, unless you call on them, you wouldn't even know they were there as they are happy to leave you to your own devices during your stay.
The bedrooms are very large with huge comfortable beds and one of the king sized rooms has an en-suite. The fully self-contained kitchen is very well equipped, and the lounge is large and comfortable. There is a separate bathroom and a toilet and the whole place is heated for the cooler months. Basically this place is a home away from home, with everything you could need... including a large outdoor heated swimming pool.
Parkhill Lodge is located in the heart of Hawkes Bay wine country and you are surrounded by vineyards. Napier and Hastings are a short 10 minute drive away and you're also connected to the excellent local bikeways network.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The home, ground, and owners are wonderful. Julie greeted us and Julius (5 years old) loved Julie. He helped feed the fish, meet the dogs, and had a swim in the heated pool. I had to keep him occupied after that as he wanted to go and hang out with his new best friends (Julie and her dog).
The apartment was clean, tidy, and had eveything you needed. The beds were comfortable and we all got a great nights sleep.
We only stayed one night and did not want to leave the next day.
With the beach and other great activites close by we will be back! Plus the great room and host!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a find! The villa is a great place for families, with an ideal location near the local beach and wineries. The gardens and pool are incredible, and Julie & Dennis were so welcoming. We will definitely be booking again. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family and I loved the accomodation. The beautiful landscaped gardens and open grounds were perfect for our children to ride their scooters.
We enjoyed the heated pool and the children loved the fish pond as well as Julie's dogs.
The accomodation had everything we needed and more.
Julie is the perfect host and was always available to help us out.
Thanks for such a great stay. I highly recommend this place and would definitely go back there.
