★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It amazing the difference between your average pie and one of these. Had the steak and cheese and steak and onion. Steak and onion seems like such an obvious combo that more people should do but Patrick's is so perfect. The gravy is such good quality that it even has bits of meat which shows they really make it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been here before. Their pies are the best in NZ, both the Rotorua and Tauranga branch. Especially love the pork belly with caramelised onion and mushroom. Creamy with nice chunks of pork belly which have no bad aftertaste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This bakery used to have really lovely food etc went there today and omg the food cabinets were terrible and the food itself was badly displayed. But I did buy a mince pie and that was the best full mince pie I have ever eaten not sweet but thumbs up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty average pies. Steak and onion was very dry and pastry not well cooked. Not terrible bit nothing special that's for sure and quite small, smaller than you would get at most bakeries. As such overpriced. Could have easily eaten 2. Only tried the standards so maybe some of the exotic ones are better but the BP up the road would be just as good.
