★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very tasty food, was a shame we only found it on the last day of our trip, otherwise would have gone every day. The benedict was very tasty and recommended, they made a special bacon and eggs for my daughter. I had the Huevos Rancheros and would have it again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve heard good things about this cafe but a little disappointed as there weren’t much gf options for celiacs. We went with the mini meals and they were surprisingly filling for us as a snack in between breakfast and lunch. Coffee was good and service was alright

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2 takeaway coffees on a public holiday from here is a serious hit to the wallet. The coffee is already more expensive than nearby cafes, then they hit you with the 15% holiday surcharge (seriously, plan & budget for these days, surcharges are BS, the dates are planned well in advance...). Then if you want to pay with credit, there goes another 2.5%.
But I paid the $16++ for two coffees, thinking I'd support a local business, and apparently the coffees good. Well, the coffee was not great (not terrible). I paid $5 more here than I did for the same order earlier in the day with a competitor in Papamoa, who made a way better brew. Wont be changing my local, that's for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last minute decision to dine at the Pearl Kitchen and what a pleasant surprise as for reasons unknown havent been there for over 12 months.
Very friendly attentive staff.
Excellent menu and our choice of eggs benny and corn fritters was an excellent choice.
Beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Highly recommended and will be back.
Thanks guys for a great experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just left and had the most efficient, friendly and perfect service from all staff. Coupled with the most tasty Lamb Risotto and juicy Pork Taco. Before leaving we picked a soft Choc Chip cookie to top off our amazing lunch. Pearl Kitchen never disappoints ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Myself & 5 other family members had lunch on Sunday 9-01-22. Everyone commented on the high standard & quality of the food & the service. I personally had waffles with bacon, bananas, & double Maple syrup with 2 cans of beer. It must have been the best that I have ever had. I cannot recommend this restaurant too highly & we will be back in the near future. 5 star plus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We grabbed a seat at the high tables next to the kitchen for breakfast - definitely try to sit there as there is a great view of the chefs at work. We had a friendly chat with Nigel in the kitchen as he pumped out breakfasts despite being busy on a Friday morning.
I changed my order to the Pearl You Complete Me after seeing other lamb cutlets on the grill. Best breakfast I’ve had in ages.
