★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service has been inconsistent since they moved from the old premises. At my most recent visit I was booked for a specific time, but still had to wait for half an hour. I then felt like the GP was trying to rush me out the door to deal with the next patient, so the consultation was like 5 minutes . I've now moved to a new GP after being a customer for more than 17 years.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a not-so-good experience when seeing a GP at respiratory clinic this afternoon. My daughter and I were late for 5 mins(sorry about that). The doctor said she is only going to do a quick run because we were late, blah blah, blah. There was no other patients waiting outside though. After my daughter described her symptoms and mentioned she was feeling better than the day before. The doctor was getting impatient and questioned us what brought us here if she's feeling better. I noticed that she was about to read through my daughter's symptoms she noted in computer to us and then try to get rid of us without doing any physical examination, when my daughter's father (a white European guy) popped in. From that moment the doctor changed her attitude 180 degree, became more professional and caring and performed proper examinations she was supposed to do. This doctor- no matter what background you came from and where you obtained your professional training please respect kiwi culture and be kind to all patients, regardless what races they are.

I was promised the right care before and after my surgery on my spine that i booked privately and had the spinal operation 1week ago , I have rang up to get a prescription and also my specialist contacted my doctor to tell her that i needed a prescription and a ACC medical certificate to cover me while recovering from a major operation
I was told no i have to come in - full well knowing i cannot walk or move drive to just come in to sit down and get it as normal doctors appointment.
This is so shocking to me that i have been declined health care , when you sign up at peninsula medical you also get a loggin app that you request repeats and its ready for you at the pharmacy . I would appreciate if the owner could give me a phone call . I am in your records .

Cannot speak highly enough of him and I highly recommend anyone looking to enrol to request to enrol with Dr. Mohan Chitgopeker.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son (autistic & non-verbal) had his first Pfeizer vaccine done 2 months ago in the clinic and were amazing with him. Nurse Tyrone kindly reminded us a few days ago & booked him for his second dose today. Nurse Trish was super patient and kind to him :) we appreciate it very much. Thank you guys for making this a good experience for my son :) (also for me & my husband)
