★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked through bookings.com was surpost to be separate bedroom off lounge and another single bed in lounge but nope wasn't like that both beds in the same room photos very misleading on bookings.com bed was comfortable, 1 star hotel it's old like 70's style inside the rooms need to be revamped and no toaster, soap left in shower from previous people ? just really disappointed, won't recommend to anyone give this place a wide berth, unless you have no choice to stay here,

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for dinner tonight and had the special on the board of blue cod...options new potatoes or waffle fries....fish was lovely only they served with duck fat roasted potatoes ...at first just thought they had roasted the new potatoes .which definitely was not what was expected ...then noticed menu and with another dish offered duck fat roasted potatoes..when I queried this the waitress just said yeah that's all we had ...this was first sitting ...so had not run out ...and my friend does not eat meat so would definitely not have ordered the roasted spuds in duck fat ...would have been nice if they waitress had given the option instead and told us if something on the menu wasn't available so we had a choice of replacement ......not a good look and not the way to treat customers if you want them to come back ...this is one of my locals but has definitely gone down hill.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome service, lovely caring staff. Rooms are dated, but super clean and worth more than they charge. Meals were huge and delish plus way under budget, which means we will definitely be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's been changed inside different from when I was last there. It's very good now with a small seating area for lunch and dinner not sure for breakfast. But had a great meal great service from the bar. Food what I ordered was great. Be going back again as I live close by
