Petite Cha was founded in 2018 on the focus of quality and signature heart-warming hospitality. Petite Cha was created to combat homesickness within our founders. Petite Cha is focused on executing the following: sourcing of New Zealand based raw materials, our precise tea brewing process, precision and consistency and friendly service.
Freshly-picked tea leaves are carefully selected & made into tea that can satisfy even the choosiest palate. Tapioca pearls are made from natural ingredients & cooked in different temperatures to give them that signature bounciness & shine.

The unspoiled flavours of tea can only be extracted by brewing tea leaves in metal kettles. A well-balanced cup of tea is achieved using the perfect ratio of tea to water under carefully controlled temperatures. It is through our roots in this passed down tradition that enables anyone to enjoy the original taste no matter where they are.

Our tea not only tastes extraordinary on your first sip but leaves you craving for more after! To achieve this, our bobaristas undergo training from precisely adding the right amount of ice to the minute hand movements when scooping sugar. Only through this pursuit of perfection may you continue to enjoy the soothing aftertaste in every sip. The flavour may be short lived but the memory everlasting!

However.. I really can't taste the taro.
Please ask sugar levels, how strong the flavor is..
Since its milk tea and such, nonetheless ambiance is great.
Management is awesome!

β β β β β Was recently in town to visit some family and I discovered this little gem! So hard to come by a good boba milk tea in this part of new zealand but I was well impressed. Visited multiple times in my stay and the customer service was so good I had to ask for one of the girl's names to leave a good review! Serena did an amazing job and I wish I had someone like that serving me back in Auckland. Keep it up guys!!

β β β β β I have enjoyed your fabulous bubble tea two days in a row now!! I have enjoyed your Taro, Peach/Strawberry soda and Peach melba so far, and am excited to try many more. I also grabbed a few macrons for a treat. Great selection, friendly staff and affordable. Glad you have opened a shop.

The best part? Open until 5, a true rarity in NZ! Iβd definitely rather support this business than grab a mall coffee. Started by a local young woman as a high school project, itβs nice to see her success even through COVID so far.

Most will come for the bubble tea, such as the mommy-and-me date at the next table, but Iβm finding a pleasant sanctuary while I wait for my kidβs after school activity to finish.
