Absolutely amazing service, Ash and his team made our venue look so stunning, he listened to what we wanted and went above and beyond to deliver! Everything was perfect, we had so many compliments on the decoration. Definitely recommend! ♥

Highly NOT RECOMMENED, Where do I start... Awful customer service skills and Shristi does not know how to kindly treat or talk to her customers. I called her at 4.30pm on Monday regarding a chair we had for pickup for an event for the following Saturday, And she kept saying to me. Well if it’s raining you won’t be able to take it you have to have a covered trailer bla bla.. if you have a pickup option. STATE your rules and regulations rather than ripping us off for delivery (with-in hamilton) pickup/dropoff $87.50. Absolutely ridiculous. (Wasn’t even raining on the Saturday morning) And leaving the phone on and walking away rudely while your customer is still on the phone, and saying we’re actually closed... who does that? Oh and not responding back to text messages or phone calls.. how childish is that? Your running a business... Your hours are stated 9am-5pm as per google/your website. Not dealing with Shristi at Phoenix Decorations Hire ever again. I recommend for all future customers to be AWARE of these things. Don’t get ripped off or rudely treated like myself and my partner did. Not coming back here again. Put extra stress on our shoulders for no reasoning whatsoever. I’d take my hire plans elsewhere..

Friday 11th June 2021 Over past 5 years I have been engaging with Phoenix Decorators with the Events I have been organising. Matariki Kaumaatua Ball - This has been an annual Event that we Waikato-Tainui have organised for our Kaumaatua to celebrate Matariki and to show our appreciation for everything that our Kaumaatua all do on our Marae and how valuable they all are. Matariki is a time for new beginnings and new journeys. Phoenix Hire, I would like thank you all for everything that you do. From creative ideas that you come up with in regards with the theme and the equipment that we can hire for our event. The ceiling decorations were brilliant there were so many comments from everyone on night also compliments on everything from the table center pieces to the photo backdrop. We have a huge range of awesome photos that we will have for ever in our archives. Having Phoenix help with the decorations really enhanced our evening. We got married in April this year at the Hamilton Gardens and used Phoenix decor hire. Maaate where do i begin? I had to email multiple times to get answers to my questions and a lot of the time i wouldn't get a reply at all and i would have to call up and find out what was going on. That was the most frustrating part was the lack of communication/response time and dealing with admin which your basically paying them to sort out for you to make your life easier but still you end up having to do it. We also paid their team to set up and pack down 30/40 chairs for our ceremony which is a service they provided and on our actual wedding day NOBAAAAADY showed up!! Our guests ended up having to set up and pack down the chairs which was so disappointing especially after paying them for this service just for them to let us down again. When i called up on our honeymoon asking what happened with the set up and pack down of chairs the lady on the other side was speechless and had no idea, i had to ask for our refund as they didn't bring that up or give a reason to why their team didn't show up on the day. On to the ceiling drapes i must say looked great however the set up took longer than we were told, only two dudes came to set it up and the chandelier they brought was broken so they had to leave to get a new one and come back, taking even longer. Hence delaying myself and my family from setting up the rest of the table and floor decor etc. I strongly suggest you guys get a new system going or management as the current one aint working.

We used the services of Phoenix Decoration Hire for our wedding. The decoration we wanted was different, customized and something 'out of the ordinary' yet they were able to make it happen exactly the way we wanted it to be! We were very satisfied with the whole service, their professionalism and their response to last minute changes. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for good quality work! You definitely get what you pay for.

If I could I would give Phoenix Hire no star! This is the worst company I have ever worked with. I only have one good thing to say about them, that I will mention. In March 2021 is when I contacted PH and was attempting to hire out quite a lot of items for our wedding that was in July 2021. I was unable to get a hold of them for about a week but persisted as I wanted to know what the cost would be if we were to go with PH. Fast forward a bit I got round to explaining what we needed, we had conversations via phone, email and in person and it was all set in and a quote had been sent out and we were happy as the price was in our budget. Just before I made our deposit, I was called by Shristi as her worker had calculated what we needed incorrectly. PH had quoted us for much less then what we needed!! To give you clear picture, we had asked for 24 m of white draping and only I think 6-8 m was what was quoted but they had confirmed with me it was 24. So, they said the price was incorrect and they'll need to readjust the quote.. which they did and it ended up being out of our budget. The poor communication of how this was dealt with was incredibly annoying. We ended up not going with the draping as they mucked us around, but we did hire chairs. PH has really bad communications skills and I had to send countless emails and phone calls to them just to get a hold of them. Shristi is a really terrible communicator and customer service skills are the worst! When a problem was raised she never took ownership for mistakes, could not deal with conflict and really doesn't care about the customers! All for the money. The only good experience I have had with PH is the guy who delivered and set up our items. He was kind and did a marvelous job! Everyone else at PH needs to take a leaflet out of his book because worst experience ever and I will never go with this company again!

Used them to rent furniture for our wedding at the Hamilton gardens. A bit pricey but delivered what I expected so was satisfied. Sadly would not recommend for catering services however. Food from the restaurant provider was delicious but service was non existent. Charged $45 for food delivery and $150 for 'event management' where a staff member just stood there. When the food arrived it was taken out of the bag and simply put on the table with a few side plates and had to 'dig in' . We essentially ate out of the takeaway boxes with no serving cutlery. Maybe a sit down service would be different but would not recommend for catering.
