Stopped in for a steak n cheese pie but saw all the pies had been sold out, spoke to the lovely lady behind the counter and told her it was our last day before heading back to Auckland, she then handed us a free baguette and a bag of other yummy pastries, bought some other goodies aswell, thank you.

Worst pies ever. Two pieces of steak in the entire pie. Vegeatarian pies arent what they used to be. Used to be a favourite place to go, wont be going back again.

Great selection of food, wide range of delicious pies, and cakes. Definitely a must any time we are near.

We called 3 days ago asking about cakes for our sons bday and they said yes we will have 3 chocolate mud cakes. No need to order or hold one for us we asked? they said no you willbe fine... On the day what do we find, oh sorry we have sold out. In the future please hold one for your client. You just ruined a 12 year old bday.

Sausage roll inedible had one bite and had to throw out. Incredibly dry pastry and no flavour to the meat. Gave a second chance after a poor custard slice the other day. Fair to say won’t be back. Such a shame

Really tasty baked goods. I went back the next day to try out more and everything was nice! I'd recommend trying the Italian custard donuts and and Dutch apple tart. Coffee was okay.

We bought a Steak & Onion pie, sausage roll, relish and mash sausage roll and two iced cream donuts. The pie had a dollop of onion in the steak pie, only a third of the sausage roll was filled with meat and the cream donuts bagged in the kitchen, had almost no icing dusted on top of the bread like texture.... a long time customer as we visit picton often, not anymore.

5.40$ lamb pie, I just found 2 small piece of lamb inside, the rest was tomato sauce and oregano. My partner had quiche 7$, we ask to warm up and was cold. We don't come back.
