★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff, family environment with like minded tourists. People are respectful of each other's space and felt comfortable going to the beach leaving the tent behind unattended and bbq chairs and tables outside as everyone did the same.
Campsite is set up as a ring road, logical and each site has ample room to accomodate a very large camper van, gazebo with room to spare.
Not suited for drinking party campers with loud music.
Wifi available. 100MB / day free or $5 unlimited for 48 hrs. Cell phone coverage is good all round for Spark and Vodafone.
Kitchen facilities are generally clean. Only need to bring a tea towel as wash cloths, dish washing detergent was provided for. Had two microwaves and 4 hotplates, each with a large and small element.
Shower facilities are kept clean, ruined only by your neighbours if they don't clean up after themselves. Staff can only do so much as they are cleaned daily.
Surprised there was hot showers after 9pm at night.
Access tags required to gain entry in into camp past barrier arm, toilet facility and shower timer. Push to start / re-start showers.
No open fires allowed. BYO your own cookers or BBQ and the staff offer herbs grown on site or they leave a friendly note to help yourself to tomatoes if available.
If your gluten free and / or celiac they have plenty of option at the two store right next door and they sell tip top vegan ice cream at camp office.
Water tastes a bit funny but drinkable. Otherwise BYO water to last unless you want to pay $1 per litre of water from their cooler.
I'm summary a very good experience and the staff set a good and safe precedence. Plenty to do, sights to see and children friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful campsite, great location. Fiona is a real sweetheart. It’s unfortunate though that Martin is not accommodating at all and quite frankly, very rude. Enough to send us home early.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not overly impressed with the whole experience. I was disappointed with some of the facility’s like the showers. The setup was very basic and lacking normal necessities, you can’t change the water temperature and it was far too hot. The key tags to access the facility’s only worked periodically which was very inconvenient at times. The kitchens utensils and portable electric stoves where very average and showing there age also. Other than that, the campground has a good location to the beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to take the family for a camping holiday. Very close to the beach and reasonably good facilities (showers, kitchen, communal fridge, playground)
Only a couple of issues during our stay:
1) We paid for two powered sites so we could camp next to our friends but were only given one small site to share as the camp owners had given our site to another group before we arrived.
2) There were no family changing rooms which made it difficult to shower our 1 year old child at night. The male showers were way too hot for our baby so my partner showered our son in the ladies changing rooms. As I was not able to go into the ladies changing rooms we were reliant on a very kind lady to bring our son to me outside so I could get him changed. Not an ideal situation but we made it work.
3) Men's toilets always seemed to be blocked. The two men's urinals had very poor drainage and were often overflowing with urine. One of the toilets had too much toilet paper in the dispenser which caused it to jam so you couldn't use any toilet paper in that cubicle.
Another toilet was completely blocked on the first day but was fine the other two days we were there. It seems like the toilets were only cleaned once a day which wasn't enough considering how busy the campsite was.
Everything else was about our camping experience was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived at the motorcamp, weather was so beautiful. Greeted by a lovely woman. There Was a playground nearby which was amazing for the kids as I had little ones aged 4, 6 and 11. It was a beautiful campground, and we thoroughly enjoyed our first True camping experience.
The only downside was the showers, I have a one year old and the showers were too hot to put him under so I had to splash him with water instead. I had also paid for a campsite but we had to share with our friends as someone had taken our campsite the day before we arrived. I guess if we were sharing a site we really should have only paid half.
Other than that, it was awesome and love that Lagoon was only 5 minutes walk :)
