★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've tried to get Pinkfit to insulate a number of rental properties, and have been trying without a lot of success from 2016 to 2019 - they've had a lot of chances, but no dice.
Slow service, lost quote requests, changes the agreed install date without checking (which cost them the job as the property had sold), don't answer phones or emails promptly if at all. They took so long to contact tenants for access the tenancies had changed over in the interim. Their guy who sets up the jobs (Rohan) seems disorganised, and I've had several tenants call me concerned it was a prank call or scam because he used the wrong address and landlord details when calling them, and had poor phone manner. There is little transparency in their quotes or invoices. They (especially Glen) made lots of excuses for their poor service, and even after I complained to everyone involved (threw an almighty fit, frankly, I've never had to 'lose it' with a tradesperson before), nothing changed significantly. Do not recommend using them for installing insulation.
When I complained to Placemakers, who contract Pinkfit for this work, they said 'yes, a lot of people have complained to our General Manager, but what can we do, they are the only Pink fit in Wellington, and we have to use them'. There seemed to be an air of resignation about this, so not even Placemakers will help you if something isn't going well.
Don't fall into the same trap. Get your insulation from other companies. Do it now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hired Pinkfit to do tge underfloor in a rental property of ours in 2017. When getting a healthy homes inspection done they found pinkfit had fitted less than half the underfloor. On contacting them regarding this, we got no apology and a we may be out sometime next year. Very unprofessional and very unapologetic we deffinitely don't recommend this shabby outfit!
