★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely loved our stay at the Piwaka Lodge! The owner was SO incredibly kind and accommodating when it came to our cat ?. Best value for money, a wonderful inclusive breakfast- would definitely recommend to anyone passing through or staying in Picton! Not to mention the convenient location straight of the ferry. 10/10!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'd give Nicci owner 6stars as it's the nicest place I've ever stayed in but the most you can give is 5. Beautifully creative & carefully crafted atmosphere through art, sculpture, photos, furniture, floral displays & light fittings. You're made to feel so welcome even when the ferry is 4hrs late. I was given a room with a disability ensuite due to crutches & broken rib. Photos don't do Piwaka Lodge justice. Several kitchens numerous toilets, beautiful rooms with comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, great WiFi, Free breakfast BUT BEST OF ALL was your hostess Nicci. Thank you for making my stay so much easier. Christina? & Jazz???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So I road my ebike from canvastown to Piwaka lodge in picton fantastic day. Got to Piwaka and plugged in my ebike to charge for the ride back to canvastown for the next day The owner Nicci what a fantastic host and now I can call her my friend. Met some beautiful people and can I just say what a fantastic place to stay.
Keeping in mind it's a animal friendly lodge so there are birds dogs and cats Yes you are aloud to bring your animals so if you don't like animals Not the place for you ? looking forward to my next stay

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There was a large group of us and it was super accommodation. Very comfortable rooms and lounge area. Everything was wonderfully clean and well presented. Fantastic that all linen and towels were provided. Even hot water bottles if you wanted them.
Breakfast was offered and catered for everyone even those with gluten and dairy free requirements. The porridge Nicci made was delicious.
Nicci was an outstanding host. She got us really great deals for the beachcomber, breakfast and dinner options around town. This was much appreciated.
Would thoroughly recommend the Piwaka Loge and Backpackers to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here for one night: 2 adults, 3 children.
Very clean room. Welcoming staff. Clean towels are a nice touch. Ice cream was on offer this afternoon which was a lovely surprise. As well, the lounge is clean but homey, and the tv is clearly new and has Netflix which was a treat after all the travelling around. The location is great. Would definitely stay here again.
