β β β β β Felt prejudice against me for my race. Very upset! If you are in 40's female, Maori - Don't go - You are not welcome here! Will be contacting NZ post.

β β β β β I mailed a box and a tube to the United States. I asked several times if they could tape the ends of the tube before shipping as they were loose. They assured me they would before shipping. My package just arrived in the states. No taping had occurred. The end caps were off and half the contents slid out. Very saddened my NZ souvenirs were lost due to their carelessness.

β β β β β Miserable staff - Frankly a horrible place to ever be, makes you feel completely unwelcome and makes up their own rules and does everything in their power to charge you more. Male employer would be employee of the month every month at a funeral home judging on how enthusiastic about life he is. Don't even bother with these guys, you'll end up paying $10 for a package that should cost $3.

β β β β β Hi,
Just wanted to report what I qualify as very poor customer's service.
I came in my Pt Chev Post office today around 3pm to return a calendar that doesn't fit the wall I bought it for.
- I have the undamaged 2019 calendar still wrapped in its original plastic film,
- I have the original docket as proof of purchase from the 9th of October (14 days ago).
I was denied a refund nor given any other solution than to walk away with an unwanted item, on the ground that it was bought too long ago.
I just want to raise that:
- there is no mention of a return time frame on the docket.
- two weeks is not that long
- we are in October and I'm sure this immaculate 2019 calendar could be sold in the next two months
- I just don't get how you can be working in retail and have a customer walking away angry/dissatisfied without offering ANY solution.
The manager who said the final No didn't even bother coming out to talk to me.
I even apologised for not coming earlier explaining that at 40 weeks pregnant I struggle to get my errances done.... Didn't care. Wow!
I have worked 10 years as a retail manager and understand that policies are important in this industry, but simple gestures (my request wasn't that extravagant), even more so when they are easily achieved.

β β β β β Super blunt and rude. Especially the younger male.
They do not care about you or any enquiries you may have. All he does is just spit out NZ Post's number if he either can't or doesn't want to give you an answer. ( Which is almost never).
From the many occasions i've been here, I have constantly witnessed unhappy customers and arguments with the rude staff.
The last time I went, I purposely avoided the younger man and talked to another staff member, she attempted to help out until he interrupted. So I tried filling him in on what was happening, he did not even let me finish my sentence and cut me off by saying "Call *insert NZ posts no.*"
I was confused and asked who I would be calling.
He did not listen to what I asked, but instead, REPEATED the number rapidly. This was the third visit where I got no answers and just a number to call when it could have been resolved easily if the staff cared even the slightest.
This is the most miserable place I have had to deal with and I always try my best to avoid going into this post office.

β β β β β Iβve had three interactions with them thus far and Iβve been met with rudeness and unprofessionalism all three times (with the same person). The last incident was today. I called to ask them to check if I have a parcel for collection. It turned out that it was an old parcel that I had already collected about a week ago. The reminder email for collection came late, being a busy mum and being someone who orders online frequently, I wanted to double check that I hadnβt missed collecting a parcel. The young man I spoke with was rude and relunctant to help, he kept referring me to go check online (which I had) but I wanted reassurance from the post shop that indeed the parcel had been collected and I was not confusing it up with another. I had to ask him to just check for me.
This man had the same approach the two previous times also. He would question me as if I was retarded or a child who was annoying him. Unless I really have to, I would not use their services again.

β β β β β I come here for all of my posting and have a PO Box here. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. They are always interested in what I'm doing and offer me advice to keep costs down. Posting is an essential part of my business and I often leave here relieved I have sent my items, and happy from the positive interaction I have had at the counter.
