PolyHigh provides a nurturing, stimulating environment which strongly reflects our multicultural community.

The centre is licensed for the care and education of 50 children, from Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.45am to 5.45pm.

Age groups:

  • Kiwi – children aged from 6 months to around 2 years
  • Tuatara – children aged from around 2 years to 3 years
  • Preschool – children aged from around 3 years to 5 years

or the age the children demonstrate they are ready to transition to the next group.

Meals

A nutritious and healthy lunch, morning tea and afternoon tea is provided as per the Heart Foundation guidelines. PolyHigh is a non-profit community based childcare centre, feeding any profit back into the development of the centre for community benefit.

My grandchildren have attended PolyHigh for several years and I cannot praise the organisation enough! The atmosphere is warm and caring, the staff are never too busy to give individual attention and the range of activities undertaken is most impressive. As a grandparent living in the UK I particularly appreciate the photo and video reports on the children which are sent out regularly. PolyHigh is a valued and valuable resource of which Wellington should be proud!

Deciding on the right daycare for your children is such a tough call, but this review makes it easy! Choosing Polyhigh for our daughters (3 and 1) has been a fantastic decision. We absolutely love the genuine warm and nurturing relationship the teachers have with all the children. Experienced teachers, low teacher:child ratios, very high quality care and excellent value.
