The best little preschool in Wellington! An amazing, stable and close-knit team of teachers with a real focus on individual child needs and readiness for school, as well as a great programme of activities to keep kids thinking, doing and engaging. Feels like a small community preschool but takes full advantage of everything the city has to offer. Can't recommend Capital City Preschool enough.

My son Harry has been at Capital City Preschool since January 17. His development has been amazing. The center has a maximum of 30 kids from 3 until 5...The teacher to student ratio being 1 to 7 is fantastic. A mixture of activities (always with a learning focus) and outings mean the kids enjoy full active days. Highly recommend...

My two girls have both attended Capital City Preschool. I found it provided a fantastic, safe learning environment for them. There was just the right mix of structure to support kids development, balanced with fun engaging activities. The kids get the chance to explore the city and what it has to offer. The staff invested their experience and large amounts of energy into children.

My daughter joined Capital City Preschool early this year (Jan ‘18) and we have observed a significant development in her communication and social skills. The school got a great fully qualified teaching staff which boasts a low child:teacher ratio. Facilities are top grade! Highly recommended! ??????

Capital City Preschool is a very special place. A place where children and their families thrive. Our son has been there for just over twelve months, and a really feel so grateful that we found this place. The teachers are so engaged, supporting each child's growth and developing, fostering their own special interests, and leveraging these finding teaching opportunities, while still allowing plenty of time for development via free play. While in the central city, they take every opportunity to be part of their city community through library visits and other outings.

Enrolled our son in the beginning of 2020 and can highly recommend Capital City Preschool. The staff are super friendly and attentive to each child. They provide a wide variety of fun learning activities (reading, writing, dancing, singing etc) as well as time to play and develop social skills. Great city location!!

CCP is awesome! They have a great team of teachers who are very dedicated. The board of trustees of this not for profit organization comprises of parents, so that the parents can be part of their child's growth. The variety of programs they offer is great and the best thing is that there is no extra cost on top of the fee for those programs. Families are an important part of the school community and there are a lot activities with the families. They are currently organizing free of cost Maori lessons for the parents. Our daughter loves this place so much that we have a hard time getting her to go home with us.

Over the last two years Capital City Preschool has been a wonderful environment for our son to grow and develop in. The teachers are fantastic and really supportive and there is a strong sense of community. Our son has loved being there - we are amazed every day at the things he is learning and sharing with us.
