Our Centre Manager is Colleen Hemi (top right in photo). Colleen oversees all staff and pooches to ensure the smooth running of the business and that the Pooches much loved culture is exceeded! You will often find her out the back with a “Bear” (mastiff) in tow, working on pooches behaviours, organising the centre and keeping the place spick and span along with many other tasks.
Our Assistant Manager is Jordyn Snowling (bottom left in photo), Jordy is the face that meets and greets all of the excited pooches and their families on arrival in reception. You will find her working her way through bookings, invoices, emails and phone calls, often with a snuggly pooch on her lap or relaxing behind her under the air con.
Our Dog Handler is Hayley McClellan (top left of photo). Hayley is amazing with all dogs, she is super confident, loving and all pooches know she is the boss of the pens! She thoroughly enjoys having a ball in the daycare with all the pooches and loves exploring every Tuesday and Thursday with all the adventurous pooches on our adventure walks.
Our groomer is Kate Packer (bottom right of photo), Kate has already created a special bond with many of our pooches families and enjoys seeing all of the smiles on customers faces each time they return to collect their loved one, looking beautiful, feeling fresh and smelling devine. Kate is currently doing some hands-on grooming training with Colleen and Jordy while they undergo their studies so they can help keep up with the high demand of grooms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took my extremely dependent six month old cavoodle to Poochies to try and teach her some independence, give her some day time stimulation and also provide her socialisation especially with big dogs which she is afraid of. The staff are excellent, real dog people, they let my pup take all the time she needed to adjust (two weeks!) and didn't rush her. Now she literally jumps out of my arms to get to Caroline. She's been on adventure walks, she's gone round the local area with staff raising money for pink ribbon day and there is talk of providing training for pups as therapy dogs so they can be taken into retirement homes to spread some joy. I find my pup is less skittish, more calm in the office and much better around big dogs thanks to Pooches - would thoroughly recommend them!
