★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there in '74 With my intermediate class. Can barely remember the place. I think the buildings were red back then. Girls dorm on the other side of the creek.
For entertainment we had dance every night. The teachers and form 2 students.
There was an Oppossum crept into the girls dorm one night while we were across the stream. And a girl was sick in the dorm alone and crying I mean terrified and screaming lol.
We went absailing down a cliff, looking for fossils, out door camping,
We climbed a steep hill (Bald spur) I think it's name was.
On a hot day it felt steep. Ran in to bees while still climbing. One of the girls got stung lol.
Learned to pitch a tent, read a compass, light a fire, spent the night out. There were 2 in each tent.
Sat around the fire listening to our teachers scarey stories. Than slept there all night.
And there was a cool confidence course to play on at the camp.
The others went down the sand dunes. I didn't cos i bunged my leg up. Some how! (Can't remember)
the place was good hosting our schools 2 classes.
And we had group turns at prepping the veges every morning for tea.
Great place for us then 11&12 year old's ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great location for a group camp. Kitchen is well equipped. Keith the caretaker is very approachable and helpful. Peaceful environment. Birdsong amazing. Lovely outside Chapel, ideal wedding venue.
