★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hired the venue and photo booth for a birthday party in February. The venue is managed by The Wellington Entertainment Group who were wonderful to deal with. Nick and Zac both have lot of experience in running events, they covered everything with me the week of the event and throughout provided invaluable information and tips for the party. This made planning super easy for me and whole experience was very seamless. The venue space is fantastic and extremely good value. The guests loved the photobooth which was used throughout the night and made lots of use of the props that were provided. I would deffinitely recommend these guys to anyone and will be sure to give them a call the next time I have an event to orgainise. Thanks for the awesome experience guys!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Pow Wow Room is a live music and comedy venue upstairs at 74 Courtney Place in Wellington. They have a bar in a mid-sized room, with a level staging area up front. They also do food. It is a great place to listen to live music or comedy and can also be hired out for private functions. It was a very clean, tidy and well maintained venue with very pleasant surroundings. The staff were excellent. The prices were alsk very reasonable for a venue on/off Courtney Place. I really enjoyed my visit to this venue and wouldn't hesitate to go again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect location and size for my son's 21st. They already have lights, screen, mic, Ipad for music (or DJ booth) set up - too easy. You can bring in your own food or pre-order bar snacks from Dakota downstairs. Amazing staff, especially George who took care of everything on the night, nothing was too much trouble.
I hired The Powwow Room (and mirrorme photo booth) through The Wellington Entertainment Group. Nik and Zak were extremely helpful and communicative in the weeks leading up to the party. Would recommend.
