★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I always watch the bartenders make my drinks, and lucky I did last night because I payed for 2 vodka oranges and I literally seen the lady poor water from the drink guns into my drink and topped it up with orange juice & tried to tell me that she poured vodka in my drink! She did remake it, because I refused to take it! I wasn’t that drunk but If you want to refuse service that is fine but don’t rob me of my money and try to give me water and orange juice.. I definitely understood why this place is called shady lady

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to have a few drinks with my friends the other night. We ordered drinks, and I’m assuming he was the bar manager, told us we only had 10 minutes to drink it and leave, we sat down at a table and he followed us and again said we only had 10 minutes and told us we can’t stay and will have to go. He comes back out later and taps his watch and says we have 3 minutes left until we have to be gone which led to us quickly downing our drinks and leaving. Extremely rude. I’m aware hospo staff are always under pressure but for a bunch of young adults looking for a nice spot to have a drink, that’s an appalling attitude to have towards customers, we also were not intoxicated or rowdy, it was our first and only drink of the night. Will not be going back here, I really don’t appreciate the condescending tapping of the watch and immediately as I buy drinks telling me I have 10 minutes to down the drink and leave.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shady Lady is the best, if not, one of the best clubs Wellington has to offer 2022. I’m unsure if it’s subject to my taste in music but I love it there. Best music, if you love Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B, Shady is your place! I love the addition of the pole, that brings customers (& me) in no doubt + the caravan! Such cool features! The atmosphere is amazing, on a Fri & Sat it’s ALWAYS pumping!! And the lines go quick (such a good bonus!) Special shout-out to one of the bartenders Nikita Nicholls, makes the best drinks, has the best welcoming attitude and always up for a friendly chat. She makes you feel safe aswell as ensuring you have a good time! 10/10!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to Shady Lady after our cocktail making class at Vinyl Bar and it was so cute, staff were very lovely and seemed happy to be there. The outdoor area is really nice and cozy. Loved the caravan inside as it added an extra fun element to the bar, homely almost. Will be coming back for sure. Thanks guys!!!
