★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must try the Star of India (Takeaway or Dine-in) inside food court. Amazing prawn masala (comes with rice) and garlic naan (soft & crisp). Even their veg food my friends tried them they loved the taste and flavor. Seems like the establishment is run by family but amazing yummy food. Do try their mangoe lassi (perfect sweetness - if you like it to be on the lower side most of the time and even I felt like tasting shrikhand)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cant fault the price but you get what you pay for. I wouldn't go back it was really basic.they offered a choice of 3 roasts pork chicken and lamb. I had the pork my friend had the lamb. There were no extras such as mint sauce for the lamb or apple sauce or crackling with the pork. Also it was served Luke warm not hot

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nana Lou's Cafe totally exceeded expectations this week. Had a great coffee (even have oat milk as an option) and a delicious BLAT with fries (Watties tomato sauce would have earnt an extra star).
Highly recommended when you are passing through Putaruru!
