★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can only comment on the drinks. We go here for date nights and always enjoy it. The wine list is a good variety, love the extensive list of cocktails. Even has mocktail options. Our friendly bartender also made the best cocktail for me by swapping out some ingredients on our request. Was amazing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Usually I am positive so I am sad that this was a bad experience. We now understand why there was only one other couple in the restaurant. The name and some decor elements led me to expect British pub type food but the menu was mostly Asian dishes I didn't know and the waitress didn't know what they were either. Not a long menu, not hard to memorize surely?
The table had not been wiped as it was ringed with glass marks, and the cutlery served from a tin can was spotted. The lighting - 5 globes low over the table - was too bright. I had to shield my eyes to see my hubby across the table.
We ordered a starter of flatbread which was delicious but my main arrived at the same time. It was a pile of leafy greens with orange slices and roasted pinenuts tossed through, nice flavours spoiled by a spicy hot dressing that made my eyes sting. 2nd main arrived about 10 mins later. A chicken schnitzel-like dish with Asian slaw but way too much sauce drizzled over the chicken. The 3rd main, a pork dish, did not arrive so my hubby went to the bar for a 2nd beer and asked. The waitress checked with the kitchen and was told it was over 5 mins away! Luckily he had a bowl of wedges to snack on, but I was well over half way through my main by then.
Glasses of water were provided but why not a jug so we could refill as needed to combat the spicy flavours?
My "Kiss me Kate" vodka cocktail was very nice, named after the English Duchess Kate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was not very happy with my food and drinks. I went for my Birthday with my family on Wednesday 18th of May as it was 2 for 1 cocktails.The cocktails were very average. The margaritas were so strong and overcoated with far too much salt. I got so drunk on one Margarita. We then ordered some side dishes which was popcorn chicken and salt and pepper squid. The popcorn chicken was ok but the squid had to first be redone and then when we got the squid it was dripping in so much fat it was really gross. We ended up leaving before our main course as we were put off the food and had to go somewhere else for tea drunk. Was not an ideal evening. We also did not get any refund at all. I would of appreciated atleast a refund on the squid. I won't be coming back unfortunately.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a lovely dinner at Queen of Jackson. It’s very much a sharing plates kind of place. Plates are reasonably priced with a wide variety of options ranging from Asian to South American cuisine. They also cater for a variety of dietary requirements. The food was excellent and we received regular and friendly service. They had a decent tap menu for beers and a great range of cocktails. If you are looking for a great place to meet up with friends for a drink and a meal, you’ll definitely love Queen of Jackson. I know I’ll be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you’re going here for drinks it’s okay but menu is a joke. The main meals don’t include a side which just feels like a rip off. We waited for over an hour for our sliders that came some what warm.The chicken didn’t fit the size of the bread, maybe one drop of sauce and one piece of lettuce. Do wonder if the chef was blind when making the meals. The servers weren’t much better either, I don’t know if they were understaffed but they certainly don’t know how to great and just have general manners to make you feel valued. Overall wouldn’t recommend to go seems like the new owners have no clue how run a restaurant

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have enjoyed this place in the past but service has really gone downhill recently. We ordered a round of drinks and they took 20 minutes to get to us. I watched as the lady who took our order, the duty manager I believe, cleared glasses, put them away, shuffled tickets, then eventually poured our drinks. All while a couple of other staff appeared free to fill the order. Didn't seem to care when I came to ask about the order. No apology for the wait

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was great but won’t be going back for the food aspect, complete rip off I had runny purée, five small bits of pork belly and two of them were fully fat! Can get a much more decent meal for 20 elsewhere. Was so shocked it didn’t even come with vegetables or any side .. super disappointed. Would love an apology :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was awesome! Our server was nice & a friendly pro and the food.. very tasty. We had pork belly & steak which was cooked perfectly & yummy (puree's.. delicious!), popcorn chicken super yummy & lastly broccoli n cheese bites super bloody yummy! Compliments to the Chef/s. Thank you.
Would I go back again?.. Highly likely!
