★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After working a full day on a Sunday our crew of 5 went for a beer 3 of us arrived early and were told we’re only allowed 3 beers not the 2 more for the guys about to arrive, then once our beers were almost finished we asked for another round and were denied because we had to finish our beers before we were allowed another one, staff were rude and unpleasant when we just wanted a nice treat after a hard day. Hope others are treated better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lost track of the times I've been here over the years, and for good reason. More often than not it's got game, but sometimes the occasional disappointment creeps in.
The bread with garlic butter was on point! Hot, crisp and the garlic fiends will be happy.
Her cod was good too, the batter was a little greasy but accompanying it was a very acceptable salad with enough sharpness in the dressing to complement the deep-fried fish.
The beef and bacon cheese burger I ordered was ....absent. I got sent a chicken burger which because we were on the clock I accepted, and regretted it. I avoid chicken burgers because they're usually filled with some processed chicken out of a box, and this was no exception. I looked good, but that's all it did well.
Probably would have been 4 stars if I got the right order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was good, calamari for entree was some of the best I've had, really flavourful and not chewy. Main I did the pork special and actually found the sizing too much and was unable to finish it. Wait staff were wonderful, always checking in if we had everything we need and everything was good and really friendly and playful with my kids. Would definitely go back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the chatto creek lamb and the ranfurly pork ribs. Both meals were amazing, really enjoyed the atmosphere and staff were super friendly too. Will definitely be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Steak was great though the salad covered half the plate. They were happy to change the chips for mashed. The mushrooms were sauced in beef gravy though I prefer them sauted in butter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great beer and excellent pub food. Have eaten here many times and hot meals are always consistantly good. The service can vary but C-19 has likely caused this on this recent visit. I would still recommend a visit ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there for the first time. It was a work gathering and the service was on point but the best part was Hats off to the CHEF for his highly delicious shearers shank meal. Everything melted in the mouth and the meat was coming off the bone and the broccoli ? was on point too. Defz taking my Husband here.
