★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have just experienced Simply Grill Kitchen for the first time and found it to be better than expected. The food was lovely, the menu amazing and the drinks seem to be never-ending variety. Would recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for a decent deal in Petone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would come back for the food, I enjoy my meal and the desert. Busy place with lovely staff. Awesome steak meal, great chef. Enjoyed the play list but can't do much about the couple where the male was singing to the songs. Under cooked onions rings, that my daughter order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely fabulous! We went last night for my father's birthday, the food was fantastic - I had the lamb shank and my husband had the surf and turf, soooo good! The service was amazing and the staff were so lovely. I took a cake in for my dad and they kept checking when we'd like it and then brought it out wheb we were ready with the candles lit. Highly recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a huge table the other day celebrating wins and overall the staff managed the process pretty seamlessly. We had a set menu to choose from and everyone was pretty content! Garlic bread to start the tables off and then my lamb shank main came out shortly after - it was full of flavour and the meat fell off the bone. Really tasty! For dessert I grabbed the baked cheesecake which wasn’t anything special but we all had a great evening overall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Choose to dine here based on recent google reviews & was thoroughly pleased. First time I’ve been in this restaurant which was full on a Sunday night of a long weekend. I remembered the owner had won some awards for his previous restaurant in the Hutt so I was hopeful that it would be a good experience. Everything we ordered from the garlic bread, beef cheek, eye fillet steak, onion rings & caramel cheesecake were all delicious & tasty. The wine options were good & well priced, the staff were helpful & accommodating. I will certainly go back & recommend.(Portions are bigger than how they appear in my photos).
