Great place to stay. Well worth staying there. If you are a NZMCA member you get a discount. But we thought it was a great price before that. NO PETS though.

I contacted this park to book a powered site and was told they don't allow caravans made prior to 2000 and definitely no pets, there are signs everywhere apparently, shame it wasn't on their website. I think Adele should attend a customer service course. Her manner was very abrupt and I could have been told the specific requirements of the holiday park in a far nicer manner. If I could give a no star review I would have !!

Caravan park where you pay at least $190 a week to be cramed in like sardines. Not sure why people stay there. It's changed ownership but I believe the weekly rental went up when the new owners moved in. "BIG RIP OFF"!

$36/night, 2 adults, powered. Nice place in a quiet area. The kitchen is a good size with ample room for preparing and cooking. Well stocked with all the equipment and there are some nice places to sit. The showers and toilets are nice, unisex so no line ups for the ladies. The owners are very nice and friendly. Laundry is good at average price but the lines are far from the machines. It seems fairly new so there isn't a lot of shade yet. I'd stay again if in the area.

A relatively new camp ground which seems to cater mainly to motorhomes and caravans. There are a few tentsites, hopefully there will be more in future. Facilities are good and clean. The camp was a little noisy and dusty owing to extensions to the camp being developed. I hope the presence of permanents does not drag the good feeling of the camp down but one interaction with one permanent seemed to give the impression to me that they 'owned' the camp. Perhaps it was just this one person. Time will tell. Good prices. Owner let us park the car for a few nights while we cycled the Tasman Taste Trail. Thanks for that.

Spotlessly clean bathrooms, kitchen and shared areas. Beautifully maintained Trees for shelter and hedging plants separate many sites. Lovely, helpful staff, who went out of their way to lend us some bits and pieces we hadn't brought with us. All the sites are grassed so no sand coming into the camper as we have found in other holiday parks. Across the road is part of the Great taste trail, and you can bike in either direction, to Mapua, Richmond or Brightwater. Highly recommend this Holiday park, we booked for one night and ended up staying for two.
