One gripe is that there's not enough off street parking..we paid for a parking spot but had to park on the street late in the evening

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend that anyone who is seeking accomodation in Nelson stays away from this provider.
These are far from serviced apartments and is worse than staying at a 2 Star backpackers.
Still waiting on the “manager” to give us a call.
Cons:
- Absolutely filthy. Plates, cutlery and all dishes are only wiped, not cleaned with food still suck to everything from the previous guests.
- Carpet is covered with stains.
- Mould growing on the ceiling and walls behind washing machine/dryer.
- Lack of amenities.
- Staff who blatantly lie and avoid responsibility.
- Lack of maintenance.
Pros:
- Location, however this won’t even bump it up to a two star.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Completely humiliated by staff when they denied us toilet paper and told to wait until the next day for more. This is a basic essential and we paid around $1000 to stay here. These are poorly managed apartments, and poorly serviced.
We were told the manager would be in contact - nothing. Have directly emailed the manager - no reply. The owner is only after money and not concerned with customer service. This ethos appears to be passed down through their management.
The apartment was not cleaned between guests, entered the apartment to black hairs all over the carpet and in the toilet bowl.
Went out for the day, the cleaning staff came in just as we were heading out, not wearing masks. When we got back at 10pm they hadn’t replaced any toilet paper or toiletries/shower products. I rang reception to get some toilet paper for the night and he said no we can’t get any more and have to wait until the morning. You can imagine how embarrassing this was. Partner went out at 10.30pm to a service station to try locate some. How is this ok for a well known franchise/brand, let alone any hotel?
Loved Nelson itself, would recommend going - just avoid staying at the Quest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comfy bed, good room size, and excellent front desk service. However the room wasn’t cleaned very well, there was dust all over the bathroom. My visibly dirty towel that was on the floor wasn’t replaced, but folded and put back on the towel heater.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The management of this Quest has been very accommodating during these Covid times. We couldn't fly and stay in December, so they held my booking over to April which they didn't have to do. Really really appreciate you doing that for us.
Rooms were big enough and modern. Comfy as bed. Shower was hot and good water pressure and we really liked the washing machine/dryer which was handy.
Car parking out the front was easy and it was a six minute walk to the centre of town.
Staff were friendly and helpful
Five stars from me!
