★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel provides you with everything travellers need. Facilities are new and good. The bed , water pressure and hair drier were especially outstanding. We could enjoy partial front ocean view which wasn't expected. Staffs are kind and professional. My kid lost her cell phone which was then dropped at hotel by some gentleman, and the concierge sent it back to my address safely right away. Thank you very much!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There were a whole bunch of us that stayed. The Quest Tauranga Central was a great location for us as it was close to where we were working. The rooms were absolutely spotless and had everything I needed, including elements, fridge, plenty of towels and even complimentary washing powder for the washing machine! And dryer!
I will definitely stay again when in Tauranga central.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Quest Tauranga Central is ideally situated in the heart of Tauranga. The rooms are very modern and exceptionally clean. Furthermore, the rooms are immensely spacious and well appointed with all the facilities required to make this a home away from home. Moreover, the staff are exceedingly helpful and always welcome any guests with a smile.
The 1 star reviews are obviously not from genuine guests and have been the result of an incident that has not occurred on these premises, resulting in a false and unfair star rating.
Given the fantastic staff and and cleanliness of this hotel, I would have no reservation in highly recommending this hotel to any type of traveller.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hi Craig my name won't be on your system as my friend booked under their name. This is definitely the hotel I stayed at (71 Devonport Road, Tauranga 3110) Quest hotel. Terrible stay at the hotel, very unwelcoming, sheets on my bed were not changed at all when they left a card saying the room had been cleaned. Slow service, rude staff, apart from one person. Pointless having the do not disturb card on the door as they come every other day and demand that the room has to be cleaned. Bad wifi, The aircon is very weak and so is the extractor fan when cooking, also very loud. Will not be returning and do not recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well located hotel right in the heart of Tauranga City Centre on Devonport Road, only five minutes walk from the eateries on The Strand. Super friendly and very helpful staff. Rooms are a good size and well-appointed with cooking facilities. Free wifi. But don’t forget your room key as you will need it to get back in after reception closes at 7pm. Highly recommended as a place to stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spoke with Craig clarified that I didn’t just rate the whole survey one star it was only the after service of my belongings that was left behind. The room and the location was fantastic. Not sure why he was not able to see that….
Please do know that I wouldn’t expect anyone to rummage through rubbish. It’s a shame what happened. I shall leave it at that.
Regarding if I will return back will be something to reconsider.
